WELCOME TO THE GREATER JERSEY HUDSON RIVER REGION OF BBYO!!!

This site is your source of information on all things GJHRR!

GJHRR is proud to be the home of the most amazing chapters and teens in the entire BBYO order. J-Serve 2010

On April 25, 2010, over 200 local BBYO teens participated in J-Serve.  J-Serve is the national day of Jewish youth service.  We partnered with the JCC of Central Jersey for project Come A.L.I.V.E. (Alliance, Leadership, Involvement, Volunteerism, Energy).  Teens had a fulfilling day helping the community by building gardens, fixing homes, working with the elderly, cleaning parks, working at a soup kitchen, making crafts, assembling first aid kits and more! All together, we completed over 800 hours of community service on this one day. Thousands of hours and thousands dolars have been donated to worthy causes throughout the 2009-2010 year by Greater Jersey BBYO teens! Just one of the reasons that GJHRR BBYO was named Volunteer Organization of the year 2009 by the JF&CS of Monmouth County.  Click here to see a video montage from the event!

GJHRR Teens in the News
